CHANGE THAT'S CLOSE TO HOME

United Way focuses its work in 12 core communities. Our data analyses show that 300,000 people in our region have incomes below the poverty level, and the majority of that group are concentrated in these cities. Given that these communities experience a disproportionate share of economic hardship, we focus the majority of our efforts on these 12, including priority neighborhoods in Boston.
